These long summer days mean only one thing as far as deer are concerned; roe buck. Now is the time to get on top of the cull numbers, and what a lovely time of year to be out and about. Long evening also give an opportunity to make sure that we're ready for the season for the bigger deer, including making sure that high seats are all sound and well placed.
Talking about the bigger deer, doesn't time move fast! It is almost time to try and get on top of the fallow prickets, August is always a good time to try and get the numbers before the early evenings and heightened awareness of threat make it harder going.
