Wild Boar are back! While in some respects the success of this returning native is a good thing, they can cause considerable damage, especially when numbers are too high.

They are a significant agricultural pest, churning up pasture and crops, as well as ruining gardens, causing RTAs, and coming into conflict with dog walkers.

The Forest of Dean is one such hotspot where boar are having a serious impact. Due to their extraordinary birth rate - they can have several large litters a year - boar impact tends to get progressively worse year on year unless they are managed proactively.

We are happy to treat boar management with the same commitment and professionalism as deer. This isn't entirely altruistic... wild boar sausages being a real favourite!
